The Bernina Artista 730E is the recent update to the remarkable Artista 200. This is the worlds only Windows powered sewing & embroidery machine. Being Windows powered is no small deal. How many other machines have their own web site that you can visit on the sewing machine itself - none. How many machines remember the last 15 stitch settings you used (ever set up a great blanket stitch then have to figure it out again later), without being asked - none.

Artista 640/640E & 630/630E

The Bernina Artista 640& 630 Series are quite similar. The 630 version has a few less features but saves you a little money. All are compatible with the Bernina Stitch Regulator, and you even save a little extra by purchasing yours with the BSR at the start. The 630E & 640E have remarkable embroidery machine capabilities including fast starting, taking the Mega Hoop, using thumb drives (flash drives) as a great means to get designs from the computer to the machine, and the embroidery versions come with Editor Lite for the computer.

The new Bernette line (Swiss designed but built else where) are, in our opinion, the best Bernette's ever. The 80e & 90e are particularly notable being electronic at very surprising prices. These machines have very quite, smooth motors and make excellent stitches. Don't consider some other company's mechanical machines until you try these, even for quilting.
